Menadione, or Vitamin K, is the prothrombin factor that is important to the control of the blood clotting function. It can be produced in the intestine in the presence of adequate intestinal bacteria. A deficiency is common in sprue, colitis andceliac disease. It is necessary for the process of phosphorylation in which phosphate combined with glucose passes through the cell membrane and is converted to glycogen.

INDICATIONS: For temporary relief of symptoms related to menadione sensitivity including colitis, diarrhea, gas, abdominal cramps, rash, headache, varicose veins and arthritis. Menadione is related to Vitamin K production.

DOSAGE: One to ten drops three times daily under the tongue as directed by a health care practitioner.


INGREDIENTS: Demineralized water, 25% ethanol, Menadione (6-12-30-200X, 12-30-60-200C)
